Objective:

By the end of this training, technicians will be able to effectively set up and navigate the PestPac Mobile App. This will allow them to manage their daily work orders, access customer information, and complete tasks efficiently.

Overview:

As a Clements Pest Control technician, the PestPac Mobile App is your essential tool for managing your daily work schedule and keeping in touch with the operations team. The app helps streamline your workflow, improve customer service, and increase productivity by giving you easy access to job details, navigation, and payment processing.

Setting Up PestPac Mobile:

1. Download and Install the App:

  • For iOS (App Store): Search for “PestPac Mobile” and download it on your iPhone or iPad.

  • For Android (Google Play): Search for “PestPac Mobile” and download it on your Android device.

2. Log in to Your Account:

  • Open the app and enter your PestPac account credentials (username and password) to log in.

  • If you do not have login information, contact your supervisor to set up your account.

Navigating PestPac Mobile:

1. View Your Schedule:

  • Home Screen: After logging in, you'll be directed to the home screen where you can view your daily schedule.

  • Appointments: Tap on any appointment to see details such as the customer’s name, address, phone number, and appointment time.

2. Using the Map Feature:

  • The app includes a Map Feature that helps you navigate to each job site. Tap on the map icon next to the appointment to get turn-by-turn directions.

  • Ensure your device's location services are enabled to use this feature effectively.

3. Managing Job Details:

  • At the Job Site: Once you arrive, use the app to start the job, complete tasks, take notes, and update the job status.

  • Customer Information: You can access the customer’s contact details and account history directly from the app.

  • Inspection Reports: Fill out and submit inspection reports through the app once the service is completed.

  • Adding Notes: Use the notes section to record important job details or customer requests for future reference.

Practice Session:

As part of your onboarding, you will now spend 15-20 minutes practicing with the PestPac Mobile app. We’ve set up practice accounts for you to explore the features under supervision. Your supervisor will guide you through tasks such as logging in, navigating your schedule, starting a job, and processing payments. At this point, please sit down with your supervisor and navigate through the following areas:

  • Logging into PestPac Mobile:

    • Enter your credentials to access your account and start managing your daily tasks.

  • Viewing Your Daily Schedule:

    • Review your upcoming appointments and tasks from the home screen.

  • Searching for a Work Order:

    • Use the search function to locate specific work orders if needed.

  • Using the Map Feature:

    • Navigate to job sites using the in-app map and GPS services.

  • Starting a Work Order:

    • Once you arrive at a job site, tap to start the work order, marking the job as "in progress."

  • Resetting a Work Order:

    • If necessary, you can reset the work order status for jobs that need rescheduling or additional steps.

  • Rescheduling a Work Order:

    • If a job can’t be completed as scheduled, use the app to reschedule it directly with the customer.

  • Adding Notes:

    • Record any important details or customer requests using the notes feature for future reference.

  • Filling Out an Inspection Report:

    • Complete the required inspection report for each job, ensuring that the customer receives a detailed summary of the service.

  • Taking Payment Information:

    • The app allows you to process payments at the job site, ensuring that transactions are handled efficiently.

  • Completing the Work Order:

    • Once the job is finished, mark the work order as complete and sync the information back to the office.
